VetKey Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued for VetKey subscriptions. This policy is incorporated into the VetKey Terms of Service.
1) Overview
VetKey is a subscription service billed monthly or annually (as selected at checkout). Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued only as described below, except where required by law.
2) Free Trial
If you start a 7-day free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. To avoid being charged, you must cancel before the trial ends.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged.
3) Refund Window
You may request a refund within 14 days from the start date of your paid subscription period (the date of the first successful charge for that period).
Refund requests submitted after 14 days will be denied unless required by law.
4) Refund Eligibility and Discretion
Refunds within the 14-day window are granted at VetKey’s discretion and may require a stated reason.
Examples of reasons that may be considered:
You were charged in error (duplicate charge or incorrect plan charge).
You experienced a technical issue that prevented meaningful access to paid features and VetKey could not resolve it within a reasonable time.
Another reason VetKey determines is reasonable under the circumstances.
Examples of reasons that are typically not eligible:
Forgetting to cancel after the trial or before renewal.
Not using the Service after purchase.
Dissatisfaction with third-party discounts/benefits availability or provider decisions (providers control their offers and eligibility).
Requests for partial-period refunds after the 14-day window.
5) How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@myvetkey.com from the email address associated with your account and include:
Your account email
The charge date and amount (or invoice ID if available)
The reason for the request
VetKey may request additional information to investigate billing or technical issues.
6) Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method where possible. Processing times vary by payment processor and financial institution.
7) Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without contacting support first, VetKey may suspend or terminate your account and restrict future access, subject to applicable law.
8) Taxes
If taxes were collected on the original charge, any refunded taxes will be handled in accordance with the payment processor’s capabilities and applicable law.
9) Legal Requirements
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
